Petromidia

Project brief: The end customer of the project was ROMPETROL oil company, more exactly Petromidia refinery located in Navodari, close to Black Sea. SPECTRUM POWER was involved in the project as a subcontractor of SIEMENS Romania. The main scope of the project is protection modernization for 110kV power supply.

SPECTRUM POWER scope of supply:

- 4 protection cubicles for 110kV cable lines from remote substation equipped with 7SD53 line differential protection and 7SJ62 back-up protection;
- 4 protection cubicles for 110/6kV block power transformers equipped with 7SD53 line differential protection, 7UT61 transformer differential protection;
- 2 automation cubicles equipped with SIMATIC S7-200 CPU and TP177 HMI for power transformer supervision and automatic ventilation control;
- detail design for all project including cubicle design, cable layout, as-built;
- protection coordination study;
- relay parameterization and on-site testing for all systems;
