Project brief: Valeni 110kV substation is a very important connection point located North of Ploiesti. The scope of the project is partial modernization of the substation: primary circuit breakers and protection and comand-control system. As primary equipment there will be used SF6 circuit breakers type 3AP1-FG from SIEMENS and for secondary part relays from SIPROTEC family. SPECTRUM POWER was involved in the project as a subcontractor of SIEMENS Romania.

SPECTRUM POWER scope of supply:

- 3 protection cubicles for 110kV OHL’s equipped with 7SA6 line distance relays and 7SJ64 back-up protection and control relays;
- 3 protection cubicles for 110/20kV power transformers equipped with 7UT63 differential protection and 7SJ64 back-up protection and control relays;
- 1 control cubicle for 110kV coupler equipped with 6MD63 control terminal;
- 1 automation cubicle for automatic change-over system;
- 1 automation cubicle for substation general alarm panel;
- cubicle design;
